scrapping again

A tidy desk means i have been able to get creative again lol here are a few los i have done

First lo is done for shimelles starting point used green brown and blue colours from a sarahs cards kit for a photo of me my sister and our 2 cousins and their partners on a birthday night out last year not often we get to see each other

 This next lo is done for the simple recipe challenge on ukscrappers to use pink brown and grey with added white black and kraft colours recipe to use texture so i have used lace and a web kind of piece

 This next lo is done for the weekly challenge over on ukscrappers to use something new and old and bling the papers are old about 2years old the new is the flower piece and added bling in letters and around the photo

 This next lo was one i had in mind for a while but didnt get round to it i cut a hexagon shape and used a circle punch to punch loads of circles cut them in half and used them to border the hexagon shape of pp i put the small photos on black card and did like a film strip effect this is my nephew and his friend on holiday they make such a cute little couple lol

 TFL my los look a bit slumped as i had them propped up so dont look exactly straight but you get the idea and the lighting is bad so not the best of pics

Tidy

Well i have finally managed to tidy the dump of my craft corner you can actually see a desk now

 The mountain of things have been cleared and am now left with just a few bits on my drawers that i can easily get to and see what is what

 Not completley got rid of the pizza boxes but they have been reduced threw about 8 away so a bit of progress just need more storage space but will have to make do for now til i can figure something out

Messy desk

Well here is the bomb site of my crafty corner lol my desk has become a bit of a dumping ground lately and has bits of everything on it its in serious need of a tidy up so i can get scrapping again

 Here is whats at the right hand side to the desk more dumping which also needs a tidy up

 and last but not least my ever growing pile of pizza boxes would not be so bad if i had a bit more storage so seriously need to try find homes for all this

Shimelles starting point lo for this week was wonkyness i used distress ink round the cardstock edge using another kit forgotten which pp it is now but i like the aged feel to it i used an overlay over the photo to frame it a bit

getting stuck back in

I am trying to use up some of my older sarahs cards kits as i have a huge pile so this is a lo using august 2010 kit peechy keen pp used a design team lo for inspiration

 Another lo done using the same kit i made the flower using a 1 inch punch and folded in to cone shapes to make the flower

 Cant remember what kit this is as i couldnt find the leaflet but its another kit from last year i got inspiration from This sketch it just needs a title now

 This lo uses october 2010 kit which is crate pp i think and i took inspiration from This sketch over at capture these sketches

 This lo i used a more recent kit from july this year i love this photo of my sister and nephews and i used this sketch i love working with sketches and hopefully my mojo will kick right back in lol

Starting point and sketches

Here is my lo done using shimelles starting point for this week photo of my nephew dressed as a pirate for book day. i used a chipboard star and drew round using a glitter pen to give the brown pp a bit more of  a background used a cocktail stick to make a flag which you can see in the close up

 This is a lo using a sketch from creative scrappers think its sketch 172 used fancy pants pp from a old sarahs card kit photo of my daughter and nephews

 I used a sketch for this one but have forgot where from so will come back and say when i find it again photo of me when i met dane bowers at a club in town not long after his big brother stint used another sarahs card kit with a few extras from my stash

Am hoping its gonna kick start my mojo again as i have got some new photos on the way using some free prints :-)

Sketch lo

Here is a lo i did using the sketch from sketchy thursday the top photo was taken a few month after my dad died and the photos underneath are taken when my dad was here the lo says that altho he is no longer going to be in photos he will be in them as he will be in our hearts

I thought i would have a go at doing a lo using the starting point that shimelle has been posting over on her blog here is the current one this is what my lo looked like at the starting point

 And this is my finished result using a pic of dd when she had her stitches removed using bo bunny pp from a sarahs card kit

 This lo was done for a previous weeks starting point but never managed to upload it in time for the deadline i was pleased with the turn out of this one
